About us
Our children met tablets and computers at school, so technology was coming whether we liked it or not. We didn’t want to ban screens. We wanted to steer them — short, purposeful play instead of endless scrolling.
When they do get screen time, we want it to stretch their brains. Logic. Puzzles. Maths. Reading. English. Games that make them think, notice, remember, and have a proper giggle — not empty noise, not brain-washing fluff, not something silly that leaves nothing behind.
So we started inventing our own entertainment with them. Their ideas. Their friends’ names. The situations they actually live. First came paper games. Then printables. Then this little website — so they can play during their own tablet time, and we can breathe a bit easier.
Building it has been a joy. Every game here has been road-tested by our own children — moaned at, cheered at, improved, and played again. In the best sense, this site is made for them and by them.
A specialist at our children’s school also pointed us toward the kinds of play that stretch visual and listening memory — noticing, recalling, sequences, following spoken instructions, and gentle logic. We shaped this collection to cover those ideas as best we could, with our own names and our own versions (online and printable).
We share it freely for other families who want the same thing: kids who still get their hunger for technology… and grown-ups who know that time isn’t being wasted on the wild internet.
